Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of E.R.A’s non-
It's easy! We always need volunteers to maintain stalls, put horses out or in, groom, exercise, feed, help with office work, operate information tables and a million other tasks.
Horse experience is NOT required.
Age Limit: Under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Under 18 must have a permission slip signed by a legal guardian.

You can choose to spend all day or just a few hours. Many options are available to fit your life style. Horse experience is NOT required.

Community Awareness Volunteer Program
Help get the word out about E.R.A! Volunteer to prepare and post mailings, newsletters and flyers and many other office jobs. Also volunteer to help with preparing and presenting various community education programs, writing grant proposals, manning information tables and community events.

There are other ways to help out as well. Our horse sponsorship program allows for you to finacially sponsor one of the horses. Your sponsorship pays for feed, veterinary care, farrier work and medicine.
Our Riding Scholarship allows for you to sponsor one of the Equine Rescue Association’s riding students for one month.
