The volunteers at the Rescue are the legs of the foundation. Without the volunteers, there wouldn’t be any possible way to care for the 31 horses that are homed at the rescue. These caring people give their time, talent, and love to the horses that come in, both the new arrivals, and the old timers. Each member of the the Rescue team contributes in some way, be it grooming, stall work, exercising the horses, or setting up fundraiser and awareness events. Most of the volunteers are children and teenagers from the age of 8 to 19 years. Some come out all day, while others can only be there for a few hours, but it doesn't matter how much time they can give, because the horses know that every minute is important.
