Fostering/Adoption Adoption

Welcome to All Breed Rez-Q

Loving hands helping horses as we focus on need, not breed

Taz and Gypsy were successfully fostered to a good home in Roy, Washington.

Jessie is around 20 years old and is about 15 hands. She is thought to be a full bred Quarter horse. She is unable to be ridden due to a back injury that causes her to limp after running a few steps in the pasture. She is a very sweet mare that loves attention and is good with other horses. She is sponsored and will live out the rest of her days here.

Success Stories

Grace and Norman arrived together in February 2010. She is an Arabian/Paint mare and he is a Quarter Horse gelding. They were successfully placed in a good home together and are owned by a trainer.

Player is a registered Thoroughbred gelding who was born on April 12, 1995. Though bred and trained for racing, he never got the opportunity due to having bowed a tendon. A man adopted him after his career was ended prematurely. Unfortunately, Player kept re-injuring his leg in the man’s pasture due to it being so hilly and rocky. Out of concern for Player, the man turned him over to the ERA about 10 years ago. He was adopted by longtime volunteer Danielle Penix.

Culea is an Arabian mare who was born in June 1986. She originally came to the ERA in 2001. She had previously only had one owner who turned her over to us when she was seeking to advance in her riding and couldn’t properly do so because Culea was too short for her. She has recently been adopted by Becky Segault who has taken care of her since 2006.
