501(c)3 Charitable Organization

The All Breed Rez-Q is a non profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization that takes in unwanted and abused horses and gives them a chance for happiness. The Rescue also takes horses from owners who just want their horses to be in a safe environment for retirement. The Rescue is a place where horses and people can come together and learn about each other in a safe and enjoyable environment.

There is so much to be learned working at a rescue. At the Rescue, all the volunteers get hands on experience working with horses of all shapes and sizes,

personalities and attitudes. Volunteers learn many different things; from how to recognize different breeds, to knowing the different parts of the horse, to learning patience and how to listen to the horses when they are trying to tell you something. Volunteers learn how to work with horses, and also about everything that comes with having a horse. How to clean stalls, prepare their food, and how to groom them. Working at a rescue also provides a unique chance to work with horses that have been neglected. Volunteers learn how to handle horses that have medical problems, or problems with trust. Everything is done in the horse’s best interest and with the utmost respect for the past history of the horse.
